The Broadcom BCM2900 is a monolithic 0.18μm single-chip ZIF tuner for both DVB-T and DVB-H standards. Supporting the UHF, IV, V-bands and L-band for both standard 1450 MHz -1490 MHz range used in Europe and 1670 MHz -1675 MHz range used in the US, it is suitable for digital TV reception on portable devices almost anywhere in the world.

By using a CMOS process and direct conversion architecture that avoids external IF, image-reject filters, and any tunable parts, the BCM2900 is suited for low-cost mobile TV implementations such as PC add-ons.

  • Low power: 100 mA continuous that operates from standard 2.85 V supply
